**chuckles** As much as I love Liam Neeson as an actor, the truth is that Optimus Prime was originally voiced by Peter Cullen in the G1 series (and does his voice for the live action movies and TF Prime as well) and he based his voicing and characterization of Optimus Prime off his older brother, Larry Cullen USMC (may he rest in peace).
